High-Pressure Valves for the Gas Industry

High-Pressure Valves for Extreme Operating Conditions

KVT Kurlbaum develops and manufactures high-pressure valves for demanding applications in the gas industry. Our valves are designed for operating conditions where high pressures, extreme temperatures, abrasive media, high flow velocities and frequent operating cycles place exceptional demands on valve design, materials and sealing systems.
Our extensive experience in high-performance materials, metal-to-metal sealing systems and wear-resistant coatings provides the basis for a valve range specifically engineered for severe service conditions and long service life.

Valves for Gas Processing, Compression and Storage

KVT high-pressure valves are used in applications including:

  • Gas dehydration systems
  • LTS systems
  • Cold frac systems
  • Compressor stations
  • Underground gas storage facilities

In addition to our standard valve range, we develop and manufacture custom-engineered valves and special-purpose valves according to individual technical requirements and operating conditions.

Our Valve Portfolio

The KVT valve portfolio includes:

  • Control valves
  • Shut-off valves
  • Check valves
  • Gas flow control valves
  • Custom-engineered valves

Pressure Classes and Valve Sizes

Depending on the valve design, our high-pressure valves are available in the following pressure classes and nominal sizes:
ANSI / ASME Class 600 to Class 2500: Valve sizes 1" and 2"
API 10,000: Valve sizes 1 13/16" to 4 1/16"

Wear Protection for Extended Service Life

For abrasive and erosive media, highly stressed valve components and sealing surfaces can be protected using suitable hard coatings and wear protection systems. By combining valve engineering, precision machining and advanced surface technologies, KVT can tailor materials, sealing systems and surface properties to the specific operating conditions.
The result is reliable high-pressure valve technology with high wear resistance, extended service life and reduced maintenance requirements.
